Hi All

The men's Turkey trot was split into two competitions, played over Saturday and Sunday last weekend. On Saturday conditions were decent and scoring reflected this. Simon Mitchelmore had a great day, amassing 40 points to beat Alan Abbott by a single point. Steve Helm returned to form, finishing 3rd with 37 points. On Sunday four players tied for the lead with 37 points, well done to Alan Abbott, James Mitchell, Paul Coletti and Richard Ludlow-Elson. Richard will be cursing however, he finished with 1 point on 17 and a blob on the last.

The competition season has fully wound down now, it's time therefore to make improvements to your technique without fear of any short term negative effects. We all have a few precious months to work and make positive changes. I shall be working on a more neutral club face position in my downswing. Along with the coaches and our access to ultra slow motion footage, plus the launch monitors, we have identified my man priority for the Winter. What will you be working on? You should have an overall goal with little steps along the way to help you achieve this. If you are in any doubt consult one of your professionals. There are five of us here and we have 90 years of experience between us, plus a warm and cosy simulator to save you getting wet and cold!
